Hello Trader’s flagship store reimagines an industrial warehouse into a grounded and evocative retail space, designed to support high-volume turnover while celebrating stillness, beauty, and craft.
The space holds the essence of Hello Trader’s story: a brand built on global journeys, tactile materials, and thoughtful curation. From the outset, our approach was to work with, rather than against—the building’s raw industrial shell. Brutalist bones were retained and lightly touched, providing a robust backdrop against which product could take centre stage.
Inside, the palette is restrained, crisp and neutral, grounded by solid oak joinery and warm timbers. Arched forms are quietly repeated throughout the space, offering visual rhythm and referencing Hello Trader’s design language. Custom retail display solutions were developed to ensure operational ease and spatial flexibility, allowing the team to easily adapt, rearrange, and restyle large-format pieces as collections evolve.
The result is a flexible, intuitive retail environment that feels both elevated and accessible. One that quietly holds and supports the ever-changing narrative of the Hello Trader brand.
